Stay tuned for 2020 season updates

As everyone knows, Virginia’s Stay-At-Home order is currently in effect through June 10. With this in mind, RMAL is considering a four week season. The four week schedule and realignment of divisions being considered are currently available under the the ‘schedule’ and ‘standings’ tabs of this site. If there are any changes to the Stay-At-Home order, the league will reevaluate the possibilities for the 2020 season at that time. Please stay tuned for updates.

Charter Colony is Looking for a Head Coach

The Charter Colony Crimson Crocs swim team is in need of an enthusiastic and responsible head swim team coach for the 2020 summer season. The position runs from the middle of May to end of July. The head coach must run morning and evening practices plus 6 swim-meets and CHAMPS. Candidates are responsible for assisting with all of the functions of the summer swim team, including but not limited to practice management, swimmer development, public relations and overall operation of the Crimson Crocs.

Candidates must be at least 17 years old, have competitive swimming experience, strong communication and organizational skills; interest and ability to work with children and have the ability to work with swimmers of all ages and all levels. Candidate is required to have previous coaching experience, be American Red Cross CPR/First Aid certified and Lifeguard Certification is preferred.
